The Motion MX series automatic alginate mixer achieves a maximum speed of 2,900 to 3,600 RPM and reaches this maximum in just 1.08 seconds from startup. The mixing timer is adjustable from 1 to 16 seconds. Three factory-preset memory settings are pre-installed at 8, 10, and 12 seconds — covering the standard mixing time requirements of most commercially available alginate impression materials. The appropriate mixing time within this range varies by alginate brand and manufacturer recommendation, as well as by ambient temperature and season, since warmer conditions accelerate alginate setting and may require shorter mixing times.

The Motion MX series includes a mechanical bowl lock that automatically engages before the mixing cycle begins. The mixer will not operate unless the mixing bowl is correctly seated and locked in position, preventing accidental activation with an unsecured bowl that could scatter impression material. The digital display provides clear visual feedback of the selected time and current mixing state. The overload protection function in comparable category models stops the motor automatically if it is overloaded, resuming after 3 seconds when the obstruction is cleared. The steel casing is rustproof and impact-resistant, providing durability in clinical environments where heavy use and cleaning solutions are normal.

The Motion MX series accommodates voltages from AC 110V to AC 240V at both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies, making it compatible with the power standards of both North American / Japanese 110V markets and European / Middle Eastern / African / Asian 220–240V markets without requiring a step-down transformer.
