Samples should be processed promptly, as CK activity can decrease on prolonged storage at room temperature.
The working solution is prepared by mixing R1 and R2 in the specified ratio (typically 4 volumes R1 to 1 volume R2). The mixed working solution is stable for up to 10 days when stored at 2-8°C, or for a shorter period at room temperature. On automated analysers, R1 and R2 are loaded separately and mixed by the instrument according to the application programme. Always pre-warm the working solution to 37°C before use.
